Today, that burden has been lifted. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of people like you, a new hand-pump water well has been installed in Savitri’s village. Unlike the old well, this one doesn’t rely on electricity. It’s always ready, providing clear, safe, and abundant water, day or night.
Now, Savitri no longer dreads the painful trek to the distant pond. Instead, she simply rolls her water container to the nearby pump.
The water flows easily, and with it, so does a sense of relief and gratitude.
This simple yet profound change has transformed Savitri’s life. She no longer has to choose between enduring physical pain and caring for her son.
