Life hasn’t been easy for Anbu and his wife, Lakshmi, who is also hearing impaired.
Together, they’ve faced a world that isn’t built for people like them—one where communication barriers can lead to missed opportunities and countless struggles. Anbu’s work as a welder relied heavily on borrowing equipment from others. Many times, he found himself unable to take on projects because a welding machine wasn’t available for hire. Those missed chances meant days with no income and added stress to an already precarious financial situation.
